Maiden Grand Prix Win for Oscar Piastri
Oscar Piastri has truly arrived, securing his maiden Formula 1 Grand Prix victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix! Following Lando Norris's earlier triumph in Miami, this marks McLaren's impressive resurgence with two victories this season, propelling them to second place in the Constructors' Championship. With their first 1-2 finish since 2012, McLaren is undoubtedly back in full force.
Piastri, now the fifth Australian to win a Grand Prix, had previously triumphed in a sprint race in Qatar, but the thrill of a full Grand Prix win is unparalleled. As a former F3 and F2 champion, Oscar has now firmly established himself among F1's elite. To honour this moment, Automobilist has immortalised the podium celebrations with a special artwork of Oscar drenched in champagne and covered in confetti, adorned with an orange hot foil embossing of his name and the McLaren Speedmark logo. What a spectacular way to mark this milestone!
