Charles Leclerc scored his first F1 points at the 2018 Azerbaijan Grand Prix with a sixth-place finish. This was particularly significant because he became the first Monégasque driver to score points in Formula 1 since Louis Chiron in 1950.
Leclerc 8 points, combined with Marcus Ericsson 2 from Bahrain, lifted Sauber to 10 championship points, already double their entire tally from 2017.
