LEGGENDA! The 2019 Monaco Grand Prix was a profoundly significant race for Lewis Hamilton and the entire F1 community. This event was not only notable for its intense competition but also because it followed the passing of F1 legend Niki Lauda on May 20, 2019.

Lewis Hamilton paid tribute to this racing legend by wearing a red helmet featuring Niki's elements in Monaco. He secured pole position with a time of 1:10.166 in qualifying and led the race from start to finish, achieving a pole-to-win victory at the Monaco Grand Prix.

After the race, Lewis Hamilton expressed that this victory was dedicated to Niki, reflecting their deep friendship and his respect for Niki.

Mercedes painted the halo of the W10 car red in honor of Niki's iconic red cap, and the car also featured specially designed tribute stickers with the phrases "Danke Niki" and "Niki We Miss You" to express gratitude and remembrance for Niki.
